Maggie Naylor founded Naylor Technology Law to provide companies with sophisticated technology and transactional counsel grounded in how businesses actually operate. She advises startups, established companies, investors, and other organizations on the agreements, transactions, and legal frameworks that govern the development, use, commercialization, and acquisition of technology and intellectual property.

Maggie’s practice spans complex technology and commercial agreements, including software and data licensing, SaaS and cloud services, technology development and implementation, artificial intelligence, data use and sharing, research and development, professional and managed services, manufacturing, supply, logistics, and other strategic business relationships. She helps clients structure arrangements that protect what matters without losing sight of the productive commercial relationships on which their businesses depend.

Maggie also advises clients on the technology, intellectual property, data, privacy, and cybersecurity aspects of mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other strategic transactions. She has served as the lead technology and intellectual property attorney on transactions valued at more than $1 billion, guiding clients from diligence and risk assessment through negotiation, closing, integration, and separation. Her experience includes matters across the life sciences, healthcare, technology, consumer products, logistics and transportation, energy, telecommunications, and government-contracting sectors.

Before founding Naylor Technology Law, Maggie practiced at leading international firms Hogan Lovells Cadwalader and Faegre Drinker, and at top franchising boutique Plave Koch. Her experience at international and specialized law firms informs a practical, commercially minded approach: identifying the risks that deserve attention, explaining them clearly, and developing solutions that work in practice, not merely on paper.

Maggie earned her J.D., cum laude, from The George Washington University Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, in Spanish and International Affairs from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia and is fluent in Spanish.
